2025 Great Potato Days Ford Truck Giveaway – Official Rules

1. Eligibility

• Entry is open only to legal residents of Idaho.
• Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
• Entrants must be physically located in Idaho when purchasing a ticket, as required by Idaho law.
• Employees, board members, and immediate family members (same household) of the event organizers or sponsors are not eligible.

2. Organizer & Legal Compliance

• This raffle is being conducted by the Idaho Playground Project, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the holder of the official Charitable Raffle License issued by the Idaho State Lottery.
• This raffle is operated in compliance with Idaho Code § 67‑7710 and the Charitable Gaming Rules (IDAPA 52.01.03).
• Proceeds from this raffle directly support the Idaho Playground Project’s mission to improve accessible play spaces for children across Idaho.

3. Prize Description

• Grand Prize: One (1) 2025 Ford F-150 STX 4WD 4D SuperCrew
• Estimated Retail Value: $69,000 (subject to change)
• No cash equivalent or prize substitution is offered.
• Winner is responsible for all taxes, registration, title, licensing, and insurance fees.

4. Ticket Information

• Sales Open: August 4, 2025
• Sales Close: September 21, 2025 at 4:00 PM (MT)
• Tickets may only be purchased by Idaho residents physically present in Idaho at the time of purchase

5. Drawing & Winner Notification

• Drawing will take place on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 4:00 PM (Mountain Time) at Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park, Meridian, Idaho, during Potato Days.
• The winning ticket will be drawn at random, under the supervision of Potato Days staff and independent witnesses.
• The winner does not need to be present to win.
• The winner will be notified within 48 hours via the contact information provided.
• The winner has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prize or it will be forfeited.

6. Taxes & Reporting

• The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes.
• Required tax forms (such as IRS Form W-2G) will be filed in accordance with federal and Idaho law.

7. Recordkeeping & Oversight

• All ticket sales and winner information will be retained for five (5) years in compliance with Idaho charitable gaming regulations.
• An annual charitable gaming report will be filed with the Idaho State Lottery by Idaho Playground Project 501(c)(3).

8. General Conditions

• By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Idaho Playground Project 501(c)(3), which are final.
• The winner agrees to the use of their name, city, and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
• Idaho Playground Project 501(c)(3) reserves the right to disqualify entries for fraud, tampering, or rule violations.

9. Limitation of Liability

• Idaho Playground Project 501(c)(3) is not responsible for:
  • Lost, late, or misdirected entries
  • Technical or system malfunctions
  • Delays or cancellations due to force majeure
• If the advertised prize becomes unavailable, a substitute vehicle of equal or greater value may be provided at the discretion of the organizer.

10. Governing Law

• This raffle is governed by the laws of the State of Idaho.
• Any disputes shall be handled in Ada County, Idaho courts.Trademark and Brand Ownership

The name “The Great Potato Days Ford Truck Giveaway”, including all associated branding, logos, promotional materials, and intellectual property, is the exclusive property of Potato Days LLC, an Idaho limited liability company. Use of the name or branding elements is permitted only with the express written consent of Potato Days LLC.

While the Idaho Playground Project, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is the licensed charitable raffle operator for the 2025 drawing and is responsible for conducting the raffle in compliance with Idaho law, all rights to the brand “The Great Potato Days Ford Truck Giveaway” remain solely with Potato Days LLC. Any future use, reproduction, or adaptation of this brand for subsequent raffles or charitable promotions is subject to a separate agreement with Potato Days LLC.
